My goal in classic was to get the Dal'Rend swords and full Darkmantle, which I didn't get back in the days. Didn't get the main hand this time and then TBC launched and I quit. Really considering resubscriping just to level to 70 and solo Rend just to get the sword and then finally find inner peace :P

How far behind Carnage is Cut to the Chase for the Mutilate build? Is CttC good enough to use, or is the difference significant? Edit: Also, is there a reason we aren't taking Opportunity? Does the extra combo generation on crits from Seal Fate just beat out 16% flat damage increase on mutilate hits?

Looking over you build and discord, all you have done is copy and paste the build from wow head, and may I ask why you use a different build than the one you have posted for your dps build. And why would you not have 5 points in opportunity on your discord build you have put them in seal fate which is pointless if your playing Mutilate ? Most of your videos are ok but you seem to of slacked off tbh pal.

is envenom still better than playing backstab? been playing envenom but not sure if i should switch. just swapped to rogue main for this phase and missing a couple runes for backstab not sure if its worth it right now to go farm them or just continue to play envenom and gear up in phase 4

So fast daggers because of Focused attacks? I guess for normal World content 1,7+ daggers are still King for mutilate?

Isn't going to be viable to build with cutthroat for raids? I'm tired of Mutilate and in the leveling i really enjoyed Stab+Ambush

Stormshroud's 2% chance on melee attack of restoring 1 energy seems like a terrible set bonus. That is 1 energy per 50 melee attacks. That is enough energy for a free mutilate every 2,000 attacks. Am I misunderstanding?

Can you make a video on how to get the darkmantle set?

You can't get the pattern for stormshroud gloves until the elemental invasion happens....and you get one shot at the pattern every 2 days. This is essentially useless for anyone who isn't insanely lucky.

do you switch to those weapons when you play combat and a boss fight has like 2 adds to cleave (Like Naxx25 anub at the start)? I guess you lose a lot on auto attack. is there a magical number of adds of when it is worth?

Even though I'm watching this during phase 4, it's really insightful. So many different guides and information out there talk about what you want to do, but don't go into how things actually work. 10 out of 10

Hi ! Thks for this guide. What's your addon mid screen with energy + combo points + important CDs ?

For my rogue tank setup I've actually been using Honor among thieves, carnage, and crimson tempest. With gear the way it is, they build combo points for me. Carnage let's me deal extra damage to bleeding targets, and crimson tempest helps healing me, I just have to wait for energy to regen to spam finishers. This setup is what I go with for group pulls, then go back and forth between blade dance, and crimson tempest, I also went into sub tree for serrated blades and dodging giving me combo points with ghost strike.
